You will also learn how to pick your niche, how to get followers and how to make money from Instagram and how they all work together to build you a business, that will hopefully allow you to live free and work for yourself.

There are 3 main things that you need to do when first setting up your Instagram business and they are:

Choose A Niche

Build A Following

Monetise Your Niche

Choosing A Niche On Instagram

Firstly, you want to choose a niche Market that will actually make you money. Choosing a niche that will allow you to constantly make money is essential, so what you should really try to concentrate on are products. Affiliate Marketing, plays a huge role in this and if you are Affiliated with specific companies, this will be a big plus. If you are not and you are new to Affiliate Marketing, take a look at the following page: Affiliate Marketing

3 Levels Deep

Although you want to pick a niche that has a wide audience, you also need to be specific and target a specific niche market. For example, If you take the Fitness niche (which is huge), the term and niche ‘Fitness’ is too broad. So, you should really aim to go 3 levels deep in this niche.

For Example:

Fitness

Men’s Fitness

Men’s Diet For Fitness

Targeting a specific audience such as ‘Men’s diet for fitness’ allows you to really home in on a group of people, who will see you as an authoritative figure in that area.

Followers:

The thing you will want to do, is start to build a following. One of the easiest ways to build a following on Instagram, is by reposting valuable content, that other people want to engage with. Go over to Instagram and take a look at what content people are posting. You want to use the correct Tags, so for instance, using hashtags that are related to your niche, such as #mensfitnessdiet,#dietforfitenss,#fitnessfood, would be ideal. These Hashtags, would allow you to start showing up in people’s Instagram feeds and as a result, help you grow your followers.

Monetise

There are many different ways in which you can make money from your Instagram channel but one of the easiest ways, is from Affiliate offers. One of the best Affiliate networks to start using as an Affiliate, is Clickbank. Clickbank has a wide range of products that you can promote and pay you up to 90% commission on products, although the average commission, is usually around 50%.

Amazon is also another really good network to become Affiliated with but the commissions are generally much lower, around 4%.

Whatever product you decide to promote on Instagram, you will need to get your Affiliate link in from of people, so they click on it. A good way to do this, is to message people who have viewed your posts or videos. Get in touch with them and say something like:

“Hi, I see you like the video. If you’re interested in learning more waysto…(related to your product), this is the product that is helping a lot of people and I recommend it too.”

Simply place your link in the text and hopefully, they will click on it. If you do this to a couple of hundred people each week, then you will soon start to see your earning grow.

How Many Followers To Make Money On Instagram

There is a misconception about how many followers you need, before you can start making money from Instagram. Some people say you need 50000 – 100000 followers but this isn’t the case. If you are wanting to make money from ‘Shout Outs’, then yes you would probably need to have a large number of followers but if you are Direct Messaging your Followers and keeping in contact with them, then there is no real reason why you can’t start making good money with as little as 1000 Followers.
